The main problem I had with the episode was Thomas being chummy with Ace. The last time these two had interacted was at the salt flats in the USA in the 'Big World, Big Adventures' movie and Thomas was not happy with Ace after he'd used him for a trick towards Nia for his own selfish needs. I think could've been about Ace trying to say sorry to Thomas but was too proud about doing it until maybe Thomas saved him from something saying that although he wasn't happy with him using him for his selfish need in the past, he can't leave someone in danger. I don't know what episode recap they would choose to represent that but maybe 'Apology Impossible' since the message of that story might be about being too proud to say sorry, even though I'm not a fan of that episode. I think that plot could've been more interesting then Ace trying to get over his fear of wild animals because while it was OK and good to see some gowth in him, he felt unnatural for some reason like it didn't fit with him trying to make the jump. Maybe you could've had him dealing with fear of heights or something, something new to come from him. Overall it was OK but not a great big fan of it. On a side note, I do like it that there were two double decker buses in the episode and in Australia we have double decker buses back in the days when steam engines were once dominating the railways and that there liveries were close to the ones we have in New South Wales. There were even some double deckers in the outback, only... but it was a nice bit of accuracy to see despite them being reskins but it works and made sense.
