S6 Ep.3: No Sleep For Cranky

THESE ARE SOLEY MY OPINIONS AND NOT FROM THE THOMAS & FRIENDS FAN BASE

NO SLEEP FOR CRANKY
Written by
Paul Larson

Directed by
David Mitton

Air Date:
7/8/02

Plot:
Cranky never gets to sleep as he works day and night.

PRO:
- N/A

CON:
- It's highly unlikely for a crane to work day and night for 24 hours a day.
- Why would the three engines be trapped when the Sodor Shipping Co. building is right behind them?

I've watched both the US and UK version of this episode and I have to say Michael Angelis brought great acting towards the episode then Alec Baldwin. Though I am a fan of his acting (Baldwin), but he seems not to bring too much enthusiasm towards the episode mainly his voice for Cranky and the twins. His Salty voice is good though. But I'm sorry to the US fans but I think Michael Angelis had outdone Alec Baldwin in this episode and MA is very underrated British actor.

However it is highly unlikely that Cranky would work 24 hrs a day, unless their is a ship that needs loading or unloading for a night train and why would a little canopy trap the engines at the docks? Surely the twins and Salty will travel to other lines for their way around the harbour? But then again that is just a little nitpick :P The episode is OK though.
