Plot
Nia is planning a big party to celebrate the anniversary of her arrival on Sodor, but she finds that her friends don't remember her anniversary and are too busy to even talk about it.
I remember first seeing this on ABC iView here in Australia last year because everyone was saying that this was a Michael White episode and I was interested in seeing it for myself since he is a great writer back in the original series, though I wasn't expecting this episode to be that great since it would have to be in line with the show's format and after seeing it I thought it was boring to sit through and nearly a year later since its intial airing in Australia, I think it was OK but it wasn't a great episode to sit through but still better than what came before it. Most of the episode though was Nia just puffing around and the engines trying to keep her party a secret.
I guess it would be the same too if the original series was given a 25th season just without all the unrealistic stuff from AEG as well as the song to fill in time.
But if this was an episode in the original series I think it should be about Nia wanting to see Kwaku the Garratt since we never got any closure between them since the 2018 special because the previous production team didn't go to Africa and Mattel deciding to can the original show and go forth with AEG instead of letting BWBA improve and go forth with their original deal that they'd made in 2018 with having the episodes on multiple streaming services as well as TV.
As for the song, while not great, it had a good beat and it didn't feel pointless in the story.
