Plot
When a big storm approaches, Thomas and company must complete all a week's worth of deliveries by the end-of-the-workday whistle, but when Sandy needs repairs, Thomas and the gang realize just how important Sandy is to the team!
I think the title is misleading because Sandy was not going up against a storm and the episode was more about her and Carly not being appreciated enough for their work. Heck it was Thomas, Diesel and Kana that battled through the storm to get Sandy's gasket. Could've easily called this episode 'Thank you Sandy and Carly' sure it would make the outcome more obvious but it at least would make sense. While the episode overall was mediocre I don't think it was bad and it had a good message that everybody can understand from Sandy's point of view.
