Plot
Thomas and Bruno help out with a construction project.
The blurb on the wiki says that Thomas and Bruno were to help on a construction project but this was more of a mystery tale with a clear outcome given for the fact we'd seen Thomas and Bruno praising it at the start of the episode and knowing that the engines were rushing about! This show's attempt at creating mysteries really suck because instead of making it a mystery to make it more interesting, fun and engaging. They just show us the mystery or in this episode's case not making it much of a mystery at all! Daniel is a very good writer, probably the best writer of the show in my opinion but this was probably, no offence to him, his worst script.
It didn't even need to be a mystery tale it could've just been another plain simple AEG story where it's just about Thomas and Bruno trying to stop the engines, particularly the restricted main cast, because they were rushing about with their deliveries and chase them down to tell them what they were taking. Sure it might not be a great idea but it's still better than making it a mystery tale for some reason.
Such a shame that this was Daniel's last episode too given that this would be the last season of the show.
