Plot
Diesel lost a crate
Why was this episode about a crate going missing due to Diesel's recklessness and then became an environmental episode? What does the crate going missing have to do with the episode's weird messaging? Why not have the engines trying to clean the sea but Diesel did not see the big deal despite that the fish were out of the water to avoid getting sick. But he soon realised the big deal while attempting at cleaning when one fish was left behind in the water and grew sick from the rubbish that was under the water? You can't have the fish dead so not to sadden kids but you can still get the message through about why the sea needs to be clean and Diesel learns his lesson and you can still fit the recycling message too as the solution to keep the sea clean for the long term.
The episode feels like something out from this show's first season. It had no idea what it wants to say. It was badly written and was so boring to sit through. I don't think even a child would say that this was entertaining. This episode was so frustrating to sit through. 'Nia's Bright Idea' from S24 is a far more entertaining episode than this, there was actual conflict involving Harold carrying the Fat Controller, and that was just another 'Nia is clever' episode maybe not the best of the best but I would rather sit down and watch that instead of this!
A terrible first draft of an episode that should've been given a few more tweaks to make it feel more cohesive and less clunky.
