Sir Topham Hatt had asked Percy to choose a picture for a new stamp
I'll get this out of the way, why does this show need to have the character explain the punchline of a joke? Surely the writers would've been aware at how annoying it was becoming. I know it shouldn't be a big deal but it really drives me up the wall because they're not funny, it never had been funny and never will be funny. A child would get the joke without the need to be explained! It just feels like the show never trusts its audience's intelligence! The animators were probably aware since they had a shot of a cow not liking Percy's pun about the barn.
But aside from that the episode, while not special or amazing, it was alright and much better in comparison to Terence's episode. Though the choice of the first picture Sandy took of Percy was clearly going to be the choice the moment it was shown. It could've been nice if it was kept as a mystery though I don't know how it would work, perhaps you have Sandy placing it backwards on the noticeboard when it was up to Percy to choose which picture. I will say the title could've been better if it was called something like 'A Stamp for Percy' it adds better context to the story instead of something so generic and unimaginative as its current title. The song is meh and didn't need to be in there for the sake of progression but Mattel needs it for one of their albums that will never given any fanfare because they suck at marketing this show.
The episode reminds me of 'Percy and the Oil Painting' from S9 of the original series but that episode, in comparison, is the better one because the three strikes at least built up to the conflict whereas this episode just had Percy and Sandy going around taking pictures which feels weak to its lead up of the story's conflict. I mean the former had Percy telling off someone which is something that feels like classic Percy.
