DUNCAN GETS SPOOKED
Written by
Britt Allcroft and David Mitton
Directed by
David Mitton
Air Date:
31/10/98
Plot:
Duncan thought Rusty's ghost story about the old iron bridge is rubbish. His driver and fireman decided to play a trick on him.
PRO:
- I have to give credit about the fog effect near the bridge.
CON:
- Shame that Crovans Gate is gone from existence.
- How on earth did the trucks derail themselves from the bridge?
- Why are fireflies part of the plan to spook Duncan?
This episode is meh but its dark story line, but it can frighten young children. It's a shame that Crovans Gate is gone from existence now that the Skarloey engines live in the mountains. It's also unrealistic of how the trucks derailed themselves on the bridge, had they hit something? And yet Peter Sam is safe. Plus, why are fireflies part of the whole plan? It just seem strange? But I have to give credit of the effects near the old iron bridge, gives it such a spooky atmosphere. The story is meh, but as I said before it can scare kids at a young age.
